Your pavement, upon our arrival, will be blocked off, using safety cones provided by our company.

The edges of your pavement surface will be power trimmed of all overhanging grass, and weeds. The entire pavement surface will first be extensively cleaned and blown off, using steel wire brooms, hand blowers and large industrial push blowers, to remove all dirt, dust, stone, and debris.

Any visible oil, excessive dirt or other petroleum marks, on the pavements surface, will be heat flashed to remove all surface solvents from the asphalt. They then will receive one coating of oil spot primer to help insure a strong cohesive bond between the marked areas, and the newly applied pavement sealer. Heavily saturated areas will not be guaranteed for any period of time.

Cracks (if specified on your proposal) 1/2 inch or larger, (excluding pavement edges), will be cleaned of all dirt and debris, and filled, using the most highly advanced rubberized hot crack sealant available today. If cracks require a cold pour sealant, it will be noted on your proposal and a Sealmaster Superflex sealant will be used. Once the final sealcoating process has been completed, you will be able to see a shadow from the crack sealant, but this cannot be prevented.

Once all the above steps are completed, we can start the sealcoating process. This is done completely by hand brush application. Our highly trained crew will hand brush apply one liberal coat of pavement sealer to the entire pavement surface. This application method is without a doubt the best way to protect your pavement investment. A brush application will go on approx. two and a half times as thick as a two coat spray application. Once the seal coating of your pavement is completed, we will install a barricade of safety cones, or ribbon, which should be left in place for a minimum of 24-48 hours. After 24-48 hours traffic can be re-introduced onto the sealed area.

All of our sealcoating is done using premium grade asphalt emulsion sealers, the best and most technologically advanced sealers available today. Our sealer is also fortified with approx. two- three pounds of silica sand per gallon for traction and skid resistance, as well as a rubberized polymer epoxy latex agent (approx. 2- 3%) that aids in the flexibility of the material, as well as sand suspension, and giving the sealer its rich black color upon drying. Additional fast dry materials are also added in most cases to help re-introduce vehicle traffic faster. All materials used by our company meet every federal and state specification for use in our line of work. MSDS sheets available.

Our goal to you, the customer, is to complete your job safely, neatly, and efficiently, while disturbing your everyday business as little as possible.
